Data Analytics & Applied Social Research at Queens College

About

We teach students to leverage statistical analysis and social science research methodology skills to produce real-world results.  Our students move on to careers in marketing, media, government, technology, finance, healthcare, education, and other sectors.

Our recent graduates work in firms as varied as McKinsey & Company, the National Center for Education Statistics, Oracle, Nielsen, the New York Times, the National Audubon Society, and several tech startups. Whether we use our skills for business, government, or non-profit causes, our discipline involves blending information  technology and social science to help solve real-world problems.

Meet Brett Turner.  While at Queens College, Brett brought the power of data analytics to the Queens Hall of Science.  Today, Brett is a public health researcher for the State of Massachusetts and is working towards his doctorate at Harvard.
